The Role
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Retoucher to join our growing team. This role will involve fast-paced retouching to a high-end degree, colour correcting garments against product, skin tones and backgrounds, as well as colour checking against production garments in order to minimise our returns. We are looking for someone who can pay acute attention to detail and who can use their independent eye to advance the level of retouching to our premium level.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all KPIs are met and quality controlling image batches to ensure consistency and standards are met
- Communicating with merchandising and e-commerce teams to ensure priorities are met and workflows and processes are streamlined across departments
- Retouching and preparing e-commerce, campaign and social images to a high standard for the website and marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all collections
- Responsible for colour matching products to physical garments and adjusting accordingly with high accuracy. Recolouring some garments where necessary and organising the process of checking images to garments within our warehouse
- Uploading imagery where required
- Cross referencing & quality checking shoot imagery
- Batch renaming imagery with reference codes where needed and/or instructing the digital admin to do so
- Resizing imagery for web, extending campaign images and developing best practice throughout team
- Updating organisational platforms and ensuring processes are well documented and communicated within the team
- Feeding back to the Retouch Manager on improvements and KPIs monthly
- Retouch images from capture through to delivery to agreed timelines
- Receive creative direction from designers, photographers, and manager to make corrections when necessary and feeding back on improvements
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Capture One/Lightroom
- Senior level of Photoshop CC knowledge is essential
- Composite retouch experience preferable
- Knowledge of using photoshop actions to improve efficiency
- Highly organised & able to multi-task
- Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and confidently
- Proficient with Microsoft excel & data management & entry
- Experience of working in a team to meet a common goal
- Professionalism under pressure and flexible approach to the challenge
- Photography knowledge preferable
