E-commerce Trading Executive – UAE & Australia
About Us
Club L London is the next-generation online fashion retailer for the forward-thinking woman. Conceptualised and crafted in-house and abroad, we specialise in accessible luxury and designs of unrivalled quality that flatter all figures.
From prom to occasion, maternity, bridal, and beyond, we deliver an elevated shopping experience that connects our global community of trend-setting consumers, influencers, and content creators with fresh collections dropping weekly.
The Role
The E-commerce Trading Executive runs the day-to-day trading of the Club L London UAE and Australia Shopify storefronts, keeping both sites accurate, on-brand, fully stocked and ready for every trading moment. They own the hands-on execution (product, banners, navigation, campaign loading, site checks) and the weekly reporting that tells the business how each market is trading.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify site management (UAE & AU)
Manage both storefronts day to day in Shopify admin: product, collections, pages, navigation, theme sections and apps.
Build and maintain menus and navigation so customers find the right edit fast, updating for drops, events and seasonal moments.
Create and maintain collections (manual and automated), apply sorting and merchandising rules, and keep landing pages current.
Raise and track site issues with the e-comm, tech and agency teams through to resolution.
Product uploads and onsite merchandising
Upload and launch new product to schedule: images, copy, sizing, tags, metafields, pricing (AED / AUD), and stock visibility.
Check every product is live, correctly priced, tagged and categorised, with the right size guides and delivery/returns messaging per market.
Merchandise category and search pages daily using sales, stock and sell-through data, pushing best sellers and depth.
Manage markdown, promo pricing and discount codes accurately, and reverse them on time.
Banners, content and campaign loading
Update homepage and category banners, pop-ups and announcement bars in line with the trading and marketing calendar.
Load and schedule marketing campaigns onsite, matching landing pages, collections and codes to email, SMS, social and paid activity.
Localise for each market: UAE moments (Ramadan, Eid, UAE National Day, White Friday, Dubai Shopping Festival) and AU moments (Black Friday, Boxing Day, Click Frenzy, EOFY), plus AU's reversed seasons.
Brief creative on banner and asset needs, with sizes and deadlines.
Site checks and QA
Run daily site checks on desktop and mobile: homepage, navigation, top collections, product pages, search, checkout, payment methods (incl. Tabby / Tamara and Afterpay where live) and broken links.
Run pre- and post-launch checks for every drop, sale and campaign going live, including scheduled changes overnight for AU.
Check localisation, currency, duties/tax display (UAE VAT, AU GST), shipping thresholds and delivery promises are right.
Reporting and analysis
Produce daily flash and weekly trading reports for UAE and AU: sales vs budget and LY, traffic, conversion, AOV, units, returns rate, top and bottom sellers, and stock availability.
Use Shopify Analytics, GA4 and Excel to explain the numbers, not just report them, and recommend actions.
Track campaign and promo performance and feed learnings into the next calendar.
Flag stock gaps, broken size runs and low-cover best sellers to merchandising.
Process and collaboration
Keep a clear trading calendar and change log for both sites.
Document repeatable processes (upload, launch, checks) so cover is easy.
Join weekly trading meetings with the GM and present the UAE and AU numbers.
