The Role
The opportunity has arisen for an ambitious assistant management accountant to join the Club L London Finance Team, based in Trafford Park, Manchester. This role will be to fully support the busy finance department in ensuring accurate and timely management accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support in the continuous improvement of month-end processes
• Supporting with the reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
• Processing monthly accruals and prepayments
• Assisting on reporting contribution by location
• Support on Business Partnering departments across the business
• Support on reconciliation of Revenue control accounts
• Management and Submission of UK and EU tax returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly Payroll
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
• Support on the annual financial audit
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts for subsidiary businesses
What does good look like?
• CIMA or ACCA part qualified
• AAT Qualified or Degree
• Previous experience of at least 3 years finance department
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with other team members to ensure work is delivered
on time
• Results driven and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
